Man oh man finally a good Mexican restaurant around the lake county area , well the round lake beach area for sure . Hand made tortillas are fire, the tacos are fire and the other Mexican dishes as well . I ordered me a Tampiqueña and wow it delivered, flavor and meat cooked to perfection . Tacos de tripa and alpastor with the home made tortillas was another touch to good Mexican food . 5 out 5 stars hand down .
It's a small place, maybe a couple of booths, a table and a counter. But the flavors are big. Tacos with the handmade tortillas are the way to go. Their carne asada and al pastor are seasoned well. Really good food if you are in the area.
Food is phenomenal. Had tamales (1 of each) & chorizo taco. Staff is friendly & helpful. Small nice place. They didnt have liquor license yet so missed a margarita. But will definitely be back & would for sure order takeout too!

Food is very good, not greasy at all. Second time coming and never disappointed. The gorditas & huaraches are crispy. Tacos de asada very tasty & meat very lean. Highly recommend.
Simply delicious!! Very glad to have found this place and it’s so close to home. I got steak tacos and a quesadilla and my husband got the Birria. Both were excellent!! Clean restaurant and really friendly staff. We will be back soon!

I heard about this restaurant on tik tok so I was curious. We walked in and its very clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and not hovering over you trying to rush you. The food is authentic mexican. It tastes like momd cooking. If you're in round lake you should check them out their ground beef tacos are delicious.
I heard about this place through my brother and I was impressed with the quality of the food alongside the great prices. Not only was the food great but the dessert was the perfect end to the meal, for a growing business the presentation and quality is already wonderful- and the owner and his staff are very friendly and welcoming:) I will definitely be back!
Homemade flour and corn tortillas, pork ribs falling off the bones, oh yeah soft bones! Incredible tacos burritos rice and beans were delicious. Service was decent, cute little restaurants just a few tables. We definitely enjoyed ourselves.
